The Benefits and
How to Prepare
Delivery-Man-Standing-Near-Moving-Truck

Date

You just made that furniture purchase you have been planning for and are excited to get it home. Let’s talk through the BENEFITS of having your furniture delivered and HOW TO PREPARE  your home.

Benefits

TIME

Furniture delivery is a real time saver. Borrowing a friend’s truck or coordinating a truck rental takes time and effort. We take all the hassle out of you coordinating a friend’s truck and friends to help you lift.

EFFORT

Furniture is heavy. Save the backache and let our team do the heavy lifting.

SETS OF HANDS

When we deliver, we will have enough people to get the job done with ease.

INSTALLATION

We will inspect your pieces before they leave our warehouse and place the furniture where you want. All you have to do is point! Any packaging will be hauled away and your furniture will be ready to enjoy right away.

Now let’s prepare for your delivery

MEASURE

Measure the path that will be used to place your new purchase to make sure it will fit. Doorways, hallways, staircases, and corners can be tricky, so the more planning upfront, the better. Some pieces can be taken apart and reassembled if needed. The more proactive steps that can be taken upfront will ensure no surprises.

PREPARE

Before our team arrives, please clear all pathways… sidewalks, entryways, driveways, and parking. Rugs can be a tripping hazard, so they need to be moved or secured. Check low-hanging lighting and any art that may be in the way. Please have any children and pets in a safe place as well. Finally,  make sure someone over 18 will be home to accept and sign for the delivery.

DID YOU KNOW?

FH Home has an experienced delivery team that has been with us for years. Mike and Rob will make sure your new furniture is carefully placed where you would like, and that when they leave you are ready to enjoy your new furniture with no hassles!
